This morning around 4:00AM, LSCSO received a direct call through a stolen SAFR radio about a hostage situation. 72 year old Johnathan Dunn demanded LSCSO deputies to leave his impounded vehicle at the Paleto Bay Lumber Mill in exchange for the safety of an unidentified EMT. Mr. Dunn informed law enforcment that for every 10 minutes he was without his demands, he would start cutting limbs off then he would eventually kill the hostage, LCSCO deputies successfully managed to corner Mr. Dunn and his unidentified associates in the roundabout at 1103. Once Mr. Dunn had recieved his vehicle, all three men proceeded to execute an escape plan resulting in the hostage being run over and multiple shots fired.
