New to Static FivePD? Follow this guide to choose a department, connect to the right server, set up your character, and get out on patrol. Everything you need to begin is in one place.

Get everything ready

Join Discord and choose your role
Join the Static FivePD Discord, find the self-role channel, and choose your preferred department. Options include LSPD, BCSO, SAHP, LSCSO, SAGW, SAFR, DOT and Civilian.
Civilian roleplay requires verification. Check the current requirements in Discord.Consider a department application
You can begin law enforcement roleplay without an official application. Applying is recommended for access to additional vehicles, weapons, CAD features and department ranks.
You may have one main department and one volunteer department. Law enforcement may be your main department only.Read the server rules
Review the complete rulebook before playing. Know the expectations for interactions, roleplay, departments and civilian activity.
Build your character
Set up your character, uniform, duty status, and vehicle.
Create your character
Press M to open vMenu, then go to Player Options and create a new MP character. Customize and save your character.
Put on your uniform
Type /eup in chat and choose the appropriate uniform for your department.
Go on duty and equip your loadout
Press F11 to open the FivePD / ERS duty menu and go on duty. Use F10 to select your loadout where applicable.
Spawn your vehicle
Type /vs to open the vehicle spawner. Select a vehicle permitted for your department and rank. Use vMenu Vehicle Options to configure extras and liveries.
Ready for patrol
Connect your tools, check the radio, and head out for your first scenes.
Get connected to CAD
Type /link in-game and follow the prompts to link your Sonoran CAD account.
Once linked, open the CAD tablet in-game using /tablet open or /tablet show.
Tune into your radio
Use /radio or press F5 to tune to the assigned department channel. Check the current channel guidance in Discord before patrol.
Take callouts and roleplay
While on duty, accept AI callouts with Y when prompted. Follow the rules, communicate with other units and build quality scenes.
Keep your vehicle roadworthy
Visit a mechanic location on the map to repair damage after a collision. Avoid continuing patrol in an unsafe or heavily damaged vehicle.
