IN-GAME RULES

Be sure to read and understand all rules before joining or participating in roleplay.

Fair Play & Immersion

  • Static FivePD servers require whitelisting for all civilian roleplay. To gain access, you must either have 60 or more hours of in-server playtime and apply through a permissions ticket, or purchase verified civilian access through the supporter store.
  • All players are expected to engage in fair, immersive, and realistic roleplay.
  • Respect others and avoid disruptive or troll behavior at all times.
  • You may not hold someone in a cell or holding and then give them the full jail sentence afterward. The total combined time between holding/cell time and sentenced jail time cannot exceed 12 minutes. For example, if someone is held for 5 minutes, they can only be sentenced to 7 additional minutes. The only exception is if the player clearly agrees to stay longer for roleplay purposes, such as an investigation; otherwise, the total time may not go over 12 minutes.

Last 10 Minutes Before Server Restart

  • Roleplay may continue, but do not arrest, cuff, headbag, or drag other players.
  • This prevents unresolved scenes before a reset.
  • Believe it or not, Modding is NOT allowed during last 10.
  • Last 10 Does not begin until the “10 Minutes before restart” announcement appears.

    Scene Clean-Up

    • All props, vehicles, and objects spawned during RP must be deleted after the scene ends.

    Callouts & Radio Use

    • Keep callouts brief and relevant.
    • Use radios professionally. Screaming, music, or mic spam is not permitted.
    • Civilians are strictly prohibited from using emergency radio channels by any means.

    Following Players

    • Do not follow players excessively without valid RP. This will be considered harassment.

    Scene Re-Entry / FailRP

    • You may not return to a scene after dying, being treated, or being downed. Even if you change characters.
    • Treat death or EMS treatment as a “fresh life” — no memory of prior events.

    Combat Logging

    • Logging out to avoid arrest, jail, or RP consequences is strictly forbidden.

    Initiating RP Scenes

    • Do not start high-risk scenes (e.g. shootouts, major crime) unless enough LEO or EMS are online.

    Realistic Roleplay

    • Roleplay must be grounded in realism. Avoid cartoonish or absurd actions.
    • Examples of FailRP:
      • Sprinting after being shot multiple times
      • Breaking cuffs or breaking out of car while restrained

    Terrorism & Mass Casualty Events

    • Prohibited unless explicitly pre-approved by staff.
    • This includes bomb threats, mass shootings, or coordinated terrorism RP.

    Kidnapping RP

    • Must be immersive and planned.
    • Players and random civilians may not be kidnapped without RP buildup. (saying “no I don’t want to be kidnapped” is no longer a valid reason to not be taken. RP it out by all means.)
    • Victims must be given reasonable escape or resistance opportunities.

    Stream Sniping & Metagaming

    • Using OOC knowledge, stream content, or Discord leaks in RP is strictly forbidden.

    Revenge Killing

    • You may not return to retaliate after death. Your character forgets the previous events entirely.

    Cop Baiting

    • Intentionally baiting LEOs without valid RP is considered FailRP.

    EMS & Death

    • EMS may declare a character dead. If declared deceased, you must respawn.
    • If EMS are online, wait for them. Only respawn if no EMS are active or cleared to do so.

    Weapon Handling

    • Rifles and long guns must be stored realistically.
    • Civilians must carry rifles in bags or vehicles.

    Vehicle Use

    • Vehicles must fit the RP.
    • Avoid unrealistic actions such as rooftop escapes or excessive off-roading.

    Name Tags & /me

    • Do not use player tags to identify others in-character.
    • Use /me and /do commands to enhance RP, not replace gameplay.

    Multiple Characters

    • Characters must not share knowledge or interact.
    • You may not create a new character just to re-engage in a scene.

    Additional RP Regulations

    • At no time should you be roleplaying as if you are under the age of 18+. This game is intended for mature audiences. NO KID RP ALLOWED

    • Must be realistic and offer negotiation options or escape options for the Hostage.
    • Killing a hostage without strong RP reason is considered RDM.

    Animal / Creatures RP

    Disguises & Fake IDs
